We reserved a block of rooms at the Homewood Suites by Hilton and the Hampton Inn at Doylestown, PA. The hotels are right next to each other and only a 10 minute drive from Aldie Mansion. They will serve as the perfect home base to explore historical Bucks County throughout the weekend! Order of Events

1:00 PM Guests taking the coach buses to the ceremony will park their cars at Aldie Mansion. Please arrive early to Aldie Mansion; the buses will not wait if you are late. Guests may also drive themselves directly to Cathedral of the Air if they prefer.

1:15 PM Guests depart Aldie Mansion for the ceremony via coach buses.

3:15 Ceremony Begins at Cathedral of the Air

Following the ceremony, guests will board the buses and travel back to Aldie Mansion for the Reception.

6:00 PM Everyone returns to Aldie Mansion. Cocktail hour will begin, followed by dinner and dancing.

Order Of Events

Transportation

Transportation between Aldie Mansion and the Cathedral of the Air will be provided. Coach buses will depart Aldie Mansion at 1:15 PM to transport guests to the Cathedral; please plan to arrive at Aldie Mansion with sufficient time, as buses will depart promptly and cannot wait for late arrivals. Following the ceremony, buses will return guests to Aldie Mansion for cocktail hour and the reception. Guests who prefer to drive may proceed directly to the Cathedral of the Air for the ceremony. Please note there will be no shuttle service between Aldie Mansion and the hotels; guests should make their own arrangements for that portion of their travel.

The Venues

Constructed in 1932 to serve military personnel stationed at Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst, the Cathedral of the Air features stained glass with aviation motifs and memorial plaques commemorating the loss of the naval airships USS Akron and USS Shenandoah. Given that Kris Holmen and Ryan Walford both come from military families and currently serve in the Air Force, the Cathedral offers a meaningful setting for their ceremony that honors their family heritage and military service.

We are so excited to welcome you to Doylestown, Kris's hometown, for our wedding at Aldie Mansion! This historic 1927 estate offers a beautiful setting where our reception will take place. You will have plenty of room to mingle during cocktail hour exploring the mansion's vintage spaces. Dinner and dancing will follow in the atrium ballroom, which features massive windows looking out over the illuminated grounds.
